The Hall of Fame Coach Chuck Daly, and the longtime coach of Detroit Pistons who has won two of the NBA championships with the organization. He has been made a diagnosis with the stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has spread to is liver and is undergoing treatment.
He had experienced stomach pain in January and had visited the doctors in Florida. After several tests and examination it was revealed that Chuck Daly has pancreatic cancer from his family spokesperson Matt Dobek.
Dobek confirmed by saying “Chuck is being treated for the cancer and the family is requesting privacy,” “When he was coaching, Chuck was always known as the Prince of Pessimism, right now Chuck Daly is the King of Optimism.”
